She scrapbooks! And enjoys summer :)

We have spent these past days fixing this and that around the house and garden. And we´ve had some wonderful days at some friends cabin in the mountains. I finally found some time to scrapbook! I have taken tons of photos this summer, so hopefully the creative juices will keep flowing ;) We were planning on a trip to Oslo tomorrow.....to check out the new Opera House amongst other fun things, but the weather forecast says rain so maybe it will be an indoors creative day instead :)

Happy days in so many ways!

What absolutely amazing couple of days! I love the norwegian summers! With some extra days off as well...everything has been perfect! The sun is shining from a bright blue sky, leaving us with red noses (and not from the cold I must add ;) and freckles. We´ve had friends and family over for barbeques and fun in the pool. We´we taken long walks in the evenings, still with short sleeved summer dresses and shorts on. And! This weekend started of with some fun scrapping with friends from near and far at Minne-Hjørnet.no! We were given som really cool challenges, and I actually made three (3!) layouts! Can you tell I am a happy girl? LOL

This very first layout was not from the challenges. I love these colours! A fun mix of papers, 3ndypapir, Pink Paislee, Scenic Route, vintage book page, some old KI sentiment stickers and AC vinyl thickers.


























This was made for a challenge were we was given a certain color combination. Again some 3ndypapir pp, a Basic Grey pp, some old Primas, vintage book pages as leaves.





Trine made us a kit for one of the challenges. It was soo fun! We had some fun trying to combine all the different ephemera with the bits and pieces of papers. I think Trine will show all the layouts on her blog. I will give you the link later ;) Here is my go at it:

We went to Drøbak (cosy little town by the Oslofjord) one day. I would so love to have one of these small houses as a summer residence. A girl can dream can´t she?

A simple wedding card

Made this wedding card. Paper from Prima, cut out some of the flowers and addhered with 3D tape. The image is downloaded form the Internet, the flowers from Papirloftet. Added some glitter glue to the flowers and the edges of the cardstock for a little bling effect;)

Bryllupskort med papir fra Prima, klippet ut blomster fra motivet og festet til kortet med 3D puter. Bilde lastet ned fra Internet, blomster fra Papirloftet. Blomster og kartrong er påført litt glitterlim for blingeffekt ;)

Vakre småkryp (Fotoverden)

Ny fotokonkurranse hos Fotoverden! Siden månedens artikkel handler om makrofotografering, er dette også tema for konkurransen, "Tett på". Jeg tenkte jeg skulle prøve å sende inn et bidrag...for første gang. Alltid litt skummelt med fotokonkurranser ;)

Disse bildene er tatt for tre år siden, i den lille hagen der vi bodde før. Bildene er faktisk tatt med et lite kompaktkamera, Casio Exilim, og med auto makroinnstilling. Jeg synes bildene ble ganske så bra med tanke på utstyret.

Og for aller første gang syntes jeg at en bille var fantastisk vakker ;)

I took these photos back in 2006. In our very small, but charming back yard at our previous home. For the very first time I found a beatle to be amazingly beautiful! LOL "Fotoverden" has a new competition going, and the theme is macro. It´s in Norwegian, but check it out anyway ;)

Look who´s back talking to you in english! I thought it was about time I made myself understood by my foreign friends again. You are all so good at translating your blogposts, and lets face it..it´s much more interesting to follow a blog in a language you can understand right ;)

Ok, as you probably guessed by my outburst over..I can´t seem to find my scrapbook mojo :( I want to create something so bad, I am litterly itching inside. But whenever I sit down at my work space I get so restless. I try to pick up some inspiration from all the amazing challenge blogs out there, and I do get inspired, but I can´t get anything done...

This was a boring blog post..not even a new layout to show. I will see if I can dig out a photo or something;)

Jeg vil, jeg vil! Men jeg får det ikke til! ;) Scrappe altså. Det er liksom ikke idetørke, jeg kommer rett og slett ikke i gang i det hele tatt. Så, den som har løpt avgårde med arbeidslysten min; vær så snill å lever den tilbake så fort som mulig!;)

Har bestemt meg for å skrive på engelsk igjen. Håper på å kunne skrive både på norsk og engelsk, men vet ikke om det er noen vits? De fleste her hjemme forstår allikevel, eller? Hva synes du?

Fryktelig kjedelig blogpost, jeg vet. Ikke en gang en layout å vise frem. Skal se om jeg kan grave fram et bilde i det minste ;)
