Busy, busy! Good busy!

This past weekend was just packed with happenings! The big hobby, crafts and art show Scraporama was a blast. Both Gudrun and I had so much fun at the 3ndypapir booth, chatting, laughing, doing demos and making a lot of new friends. (Always having fun together with you, Gudrun. Thanks! :)

Then, Saturday we celebrated this faboulous lady, my mom! Can you believe she is 70!? (Oops, sorry mom... I really shouldn´t tell a womans age should I....;) We had the party here at our house. Close friends and family having a great time with games, speaches and lots of yummy food. Congrats mom!

Sunday, before heading back to the craft show, we went to see Maiken and her friend Maren dance in church. Oh, these girls are soooo sweet, and I must admit..I was pretty proud of them! ;)

These are busy times. Lots of work to do, and for that I am thankful!! But I must admit I do miss some time to create and scrapbook. I feel the urge! LOL Well, I got some scrapbooking done last week when thes two beauties visited :)

3ndypapir på Scraporama "Hjem & Hobby messa"

Fredag er det klart for Scraporamamessa! Gudrun og jeg tar med oss massevis med papirer og håper vi møter mange papirglade mennesker. Vi skal fylle standen med store og små juleprosjekter, og forhåpentligvis får du med deg noen ideer mens du titter, handler og koser deg.

3ndypapir i lokalavisen :)

For et par uker siden fikk vi en henvendelse fra lokalavisen her, Østlandets Blad. Vi hadde besøk av en koselig journalist med kjærlighet til papirhobby, akkurat som oss, og det ble det jammen en artikkel av :) Her kan dere lese artikkelen på nett: "Lever av kjærligheten til papir"

Skitreffet - kurs!

Skitreffet er helt fullt, folk står nå på venteliste for å bli med. Det er gjevt, og det sier litt om hvor vellykket dette treffet har vært tidligere. Det blir faktisk bare bedre og bedre for hver gang;) Jeg gleder meg i hvert fall enormt!

Til dere som skal på treffet; det er enda noen ledige plasser på kursene, så hiv dere rundt!

I´m a scrapbooker!

I attended a crop at my local scrapbook store, Minne-Hjørnet saturday. It´s been forever since my last crop, and I enjoyed it big time! What made it even better, Trine celebrated her birthday so we started it all of with eating tapas for lunch. and for a late night supper we went for some sushi and chinese food. Trine had prepared some challenges for us, and we all made quite a few layouts and cards.

I´m working on Christmas still (3ndypapir.no). And there are a few other projects here and there. The house has been flu infested as well, but that´s fall for ya!

OLW Beauty

I actually managed to make a layout for this weeks OLW challenge! The word beeing "Beauty" gave me lots of photos an themes to choose from, I love that word, it can be used in so many ways. Had a blast making the layout. I went bananas with gesso, paint, masking tape and different kind of "tools". Also stamped some flowers and leaves onto glossy paper, coloured them with H2o paint and then cut them out and mounted some of them with 3d tape. Then I used a piece of 3ndypapir paper and a transparency from Hambly as backing. Could make a cool wall hanging maybe?











We have been celebrating some birthdays these past couple of weeks, and we ain´t done celebrating yet;) Maiken is having some friends over tomorrow for a sleepover party, and then Emilie will have all the girls in her class next week. Look at these cute tired faces... I remember the feeling, not beeing able to sleep, lying awake all night waiting for the family waking you up in the morning with presents, breakfast and birthday singing. Lovely feeling....I still think so myself ;)

For Maiken!

For tolv år siden kom det til verden ei lita jente,
hun hadde det travelt og klarte ikke vente.

Det ble en dramatisk inngang til denne verden,
men jenta var tøff og takla ferden.

Lykken var stor for både far og mor,
og de syntes hun var det vakreste på jord!

Nå er hun stor, hun er sterk, hun er flott!
Livet med deg er så utrolig godt.
